Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. Below, we have tried to answer the most common questions visitors to our Web site may have. If you find that your question is not answered on this page, please E-mail us at blueparties@aol.com or call 305-295-5550.   1. How many cameras do you use? We always shoot with two 3-chip professional digital Canon cameras.
  2. Can I see a demo video example of your work? Yes, you may go to our video clips page and view an on-line demo clip of a party, event or wedding. If you would like to view a completed video or are unable to view our web clips, please E-mail or call us and we’ll send you a demo on VHS tape or DVD (free of charge).
  3. Do you use wireless microphones? Yes, we use Shure UHF wireless microphones for DJ / MC services and tiny Samson UHF lapel microphones for video.
  4. Are you unobtrusive? Yes, we blend in with your guests by wearing the appropriate attire and abiding by all venue rules. We use small on-camera lights, only if absolutely necessary.
  5. Do you have a written contract? Yes, we have written contracts for all of our services.
  6. Do you have comparable back-up equipment? Yes, we always have back-ups available.
  7. Can you provide my final video on DVD? Yes, with chapters and all.
  8. Are you a member of a professional organization? Yes, we are members of WEVA (Wedding and Event Videographers Association International.)
  9. Do you provide editing? Yes, we provide nonlinear editing using Adobe Premiere Pro software with all video packages. This allows us to create beautiful video using special effects, fades, slow motion, CD quality music, titles, etc.
  10. Do you attend the rehearsal? We prefer to attend the rehearsal for video services if our schedule allows. We always work closely with our customers before the event to ensure we provide the service they desire.
  11. Do you provide dinner music? Yes, we help you decide on a music genre ahead of time and then provide the music.
  12. Do you provide ceremony music? Yes
  13. Do you allow your customers to pick out their own music? Yes, we encourage you to make a list of songs you do want to hear and also a list you do not want to hear. It’s your party and it’s our job to make sure you have a good time, so we prefer you communicate with us ahead of time. You can also choose the music for your video, if you desire.
  14. Do you provide a song list for your DJ services? Due to the size of our music library, we do not send our clients a printed list. Instead, we encourage you to visit Ultimatewedding.com where you can listen and choose from 3745 songs (click on the “songs & music” link on the left side of the page). If you hear something you like, let us know and we’ll be sure to play it. We always bring a large cross-section of music to our events. Our clients are welcome to provide us with a list of songs and the genres of music they prefer to hear.
  15. Can you provide both music and video services for the same event? Yes, and you can save up to 400.00 when you book with us for both services.
  16. Can you provide referrals? Our policy states that we do not give out our client’s phone numbers unless they say otherwise. Most people are willing to give us a quote, however they do not want us to distribute their numbers or addresses. We are well known and respected in the Key West community and  the venues where we work give us positive reviews. We have a feedback page with actual quotes from clients.

  18. Do you have music from the 40’s & 50’s available for our older relatives? Yes, we have a huge music library that hits upon just about every music genre.
  19. Is your dance floor lighting “cheesy”? No, we use tasteful lighting effects tailored to the mood of your event. Whether you prefer a high-energy club atmosphere or a soft romantic mood, we can provide the proper lighting.
  20. How do we book a specific date? We send out a contract either via E-mail or snail mail (whatever you prefer), you look it over and if you decide to go with us, just send it back signed with a 50% deposit. As soon as we receive the contract and deposit, your date is officially booked.
  21. Do you accept credit cards? Yes, we accept Visa & Mastercard, etc via Paypal on our website. Click here to view our checkout page.
